Good times
I've been getting outdoors a bit lately, going on long walks. Fitness. Freedom. And fun.
Actually, my sister and I had great ideas to do some super long walks but it never eventuated. However over the past few weeks while she was staying with us, we did a lot of walking. We drove around a lot, explored beaches, parks and places nearby I hadn't been to before. It was great fun. I guess I'm a little bit fitter after some of the treks we managed, but as we know, you have to use it. Or you will sure as heck lose it! And right now the last thing I want to do is go out and walk, even around the block. Lazy Easter Weekend!Writing update: From This Day is making sturdy progress. I hope to finish it this week and have it up for sale by the end of April. I am hopeless with broken routines, and barely got any writing done the weeks the sister was with us, but I hadn't seen her in ages so it was brilliant fun. Plus we went out to eat a lot. Brunches, lunches, and a few dinners. Boy, the pants are tight I can tell you.
But I'm back into the swing of it now, back into the routine, until my next visitor in May. I will soon be planning the next book to write. and I'm tossing up between a new Gabardi novel or to continue on with the flatmates at Bluebell Road and do Lydia's story. Not at all sure but a decision will be coming soon, along with the happy job (mostly) of finding a cover image and designing a new cover.
