Another lovely review

I was happy to get another lovely review and a four star rating for These Magic Moments . Thank you, kind reader. Two likable strangers work together giving last minute assistance to a family. They are both somewhat out of their comfort zone, willing to be honest and open to suggestions. The story has a realistic feel as it unfolds their gradual attraction. The kids grow on you, too! I currently have family visiting from overseas which is massive in these Covid times. I'm hoping to keep up my schedule for Katie's book and her love interest James, but it might have to take a back seat to seeing Family!! With a capital 'F'!! I hope not because I am a whisker, a mere whisker, away from finishing the story. I sent it to my Kindle to read as a word document, and then my kindle went and died. Oh dear. Actually, it didn't really die, the charger went kaput but a minor problem in the scheme of things! ~ Maddie.

Some lovely reviews

These Magic Moments has its first two reviews on Amazon.com. Thank you!! Here they are, and they absolutely made my day! "What a sweet love story. My cheeks hurt from smiling the whole time I was reading it, which I did in one sitting. A great story and a wonderful read." "I loved the characters. I also loved the story line and the lack of discrimination between the wealthy individuals and the working class. I thoroughly enjoyed ethic book." ~ Maddie.

Excerpt from "From This Day"

Excerpt from the new book, From This Day. To be published by the end of March. Here you go...   KATHERINE O’CONNOR, aka Katie to her friends, had in the scheme of things had a pretty good day. She hadn’t slept through her alarm, thus she’d caught the bus on time. True, she hadn’t been able to read her book, a gripping mystery she couldn’t wait to finish, and she’d had to stand, but the woman on one side was wearing a very nice perfume which wasn’t overpowering and the man on the other appeared engrossed in a podcast and emitted only the occasional chuckle. All in all, it hadn’t been the usual unpleasant trip to work. When she got there, she had time to get to the bathroom, check her windblown hair and repair her make up—what there was of it—and the day at work had started pretty good. In fact, it had gone extremely well. Until she’d seen the photo. The photo of her and him. Now Katie pushed open the front door to the flat on Bluebell Road, pausing as she shut it behind...
